Post Baccalaureate Fellowship in Criminal Justice
Blue Ridge Court Services, a public non‑profit agency providing alternative sentencing options for the courts in the Central Shenandoah Valley, is accepting applications for a one‑year post baccalaureate fellowship. We are seeking a recent college graduate with a major in psychology, sociology, social work or criminal justice who is interested in an intensive learning experience to become a part of our member team.
This position will also serve as our Re‑entry Coordinator for the year.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in each of our agency’s eight program areas:
- Local Probation
- Pretrial Services
- Home Electronic Monitoring
- Domestic Violence Program
- Staunton, Augusta and Waynesboro Recovery Court
- Re‑entry Services
- Pretrial Initiative on Mental Illness
- Staunton‑Augusta Therapeutic Docket Program
