Location:

Starting at $102,726, commensurate with experience. An additional $10,000 will be added to the base pay for candidates who are Licensed Clinical Psychologists.
ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical evaluation to individuals with serious mental disorders, collaborating with other care disciplines to maximize quality of interdisciplinary care; prepare for transition to community recovery; participate in departmental, hospital, and statewide committees; provide services at a system level, such as forensic evaluations, as directed. Supervise at least one mental health worker, ensuring clear expectations, evaluating performance; deliver at least two PSR group hours per week;
supervise unit program development (e.g., group reinforcement programs); incorporate evidence‑based practices; attend 90% of meetings with quality input; perform forensic evaluations per legal and professional standards.
- Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA‑accredited program. - License (or license‑eligible) to practice clinical psychology in Virginia (must be licensed within one year of hire).
- Experience applying assessment and intervention methods to individuals with serious mental disorders.
- Completion (or eligibility to complete) the forensic evaluation training program for Virginia.
- Bilingual.
