Daikin Applied is seeking a Human Resources Representative to provide administrative and basic HR support across a variety of human resource programs including onboarding, benefits administration, recordkeeping, reporting, and employee and labor relations activities. Location:

Staunton, VA - In-Office Your Responsibilities:

Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations in their areas of responsibility

Responding to inquiries regarding human resource policies and procedures, promotion, pay, benefits, and conditions of employment

Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations, periodically review orientation materials and make updates or recommend improvements as needed

Support in the administration of benefit programs such as life, health, dental, and disability insurances, 401(k) plans, vacation, and employee assistance for assigned location, including preparing employee benefit materials/packets for annual Open Enrollment Provide administrative support for union labor agreements including job bidding, transfers, wage changes, department changes, attendance, corrective action logs, etc.

Maintain Human Resources files including employee files, medical/workers compensation files, training records, exit checklists, and other employee records

Administer Service Award program

Prepare reports, as requested

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience0-2 years of experience in Human Resources, administrative, customer service, or related business experience

The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.72 to $42.44 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
