Job DutiesProvide high‑quality acute psychiatric evaluation, crisis stabilization, and intensive short‑term treatment that empowers children and their families to make developmentally appropriate choices and strengthens children’s hope, resilience, and self‑esteem.
Minimum Qualifications- Knowledge of illness and treatment modalities, especially medication management
- Ability to implement nursing care plans and provide guidance to Psychiatric Care Techs as necessary
- Computer skills and ability to document without error in the Electronic Health Record
- Skilled at communicating with a young patient population with special needs
- Effective communication across treatment teams and within the nursing department
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health psychiatric diagnosis, trauma‑informed care, and evidence‑based treatments
- Veteran preference
- Bilingual language skills considered
