Teacher Active is proud to be working with a good secondary school in Staveley with a strong and supportive faculty. The school has a positive working environment and is looking for an experienced Religious Studies Teacher to join the department and contribute to the continued success of its students.

The school is looking to appoint a Religious Studies Teacher on a full-time maternity cover basis from October until March. The successful Religious Studies Teacher will teach Religious Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, alongside Philosophy at A-Level, and will be expected to plan engaging lessons, assess progress and maintain high standards within the classroom.

• QTS with a relevant subject specialism
• Strong experience teaching Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4
• Experience teaching Philosophy at A-Level
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Strong classroom management skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
