Monday to Friday – 10:00pm to 8:00am

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bandsaw Operative to join a well-established company in Staveley on a permanent night shift.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience operating bandsaw machinery within a warehouse or manufacturing environment, who is reliable, proactive, and looking for long-term stable work.

The Role

Duties will include:

Operating industrial bandsaw machinery safely and efficiently

Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately to specification

Loading and handling materials using forklift trucks where required

Quality checking finished cuts to ensure accuracy and standards are met

Supporting general production and warehouse operations

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience operating bandsaw machinery (essential)

FLT licence preferred (refresher training can be provided if needed)

Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately

Reliable, proactive, and consistent work history

Good teamwork and communication skills

Ability to work permanent night shifts
