Shift Production Operative

Kentmere 15.83 per hour Temporary Role with Potential to Become Permanent

Our client, a leading manufacturer of nonwoven materials and engineered papers, is seeking reliable and motivated Shift Production Operatives to join their production team.

The Role

As a Shift Production Operative, you will be responsible for operating production machinery, carrying out quality checks, supporting production activities, and helping to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Perform quality checks and accurately complete production records.
  • Follow standard operating procedures at all times.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within the production area.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support effective shift handovers.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety requirements.
  • Wear and use the appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Undertake training across a range of production processes and machinery.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern.
Shift Pattern
  • Working on either the A, B, or C shift pattern, covering both days and nights (6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am).
  • Full shift details will be provided during the recruitment process.
  • No weekend working is currently required.
