Manufacturing Plant Electrician

Red Built, LLC is a growing manufacturing company located in Stayton, OR. We produce engineered wood joists, laminated veneer lumber (LVL), and assemble job packages for delivery. Our Manufacturing Plant Electrician will maintain and service our equipment, ensuring safe operation of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

$39.60/hr – $45.44/hr

Hiring Immediately! $2,000 signing bonus!

• Swing shift:
  Monday through Friday, 2 pm to 10 pm (Base pay + $1.00 per hour)
• Graveyard shift:
  Monday through Friday, 10 pm to 6 am (Base pay + $1.50 per hour)

• Valid LME (Limited Mechanical Electrical) Minimum License – REQUIRED
• Equipment maintenance or related experience
• Must complete Maintenance Assessments or Continue Education Program
• Willing to progress toward an Oregon Electrical Supervisor License

Would be a plus:

• Experienced programming PLCs, PJ (Plant Journeyman) or General Journeyman License
• Experience with LVL or lumber industry
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, veneer clipper, LVL presses, and I‑joist line
• Fabrication, welding, and cutting
• Use computerized system for timesheets
• Order parts and keep equipment properly stocked
• Communicate with vendors
• Work overtime hours as needed

• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Frequently walk or stand for prolonged periods
• Occasionally bend, squat, or stoop
• Manual and finger dexterity required for daily duties
• Frequent work near moving mechanical parts
• Exposure to high noise levels
• Exposure to airborne particles
• Work environment: wood processing and manufacturing operations
