Accounting Manager

Adecco is currently hiring an Accounting Manager for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and taking ownership of full‑cycle accounting and financial accuracy.

• Salary: $90,000‑$115,000/year
• Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (full‑time)

• Execute full‑cycle accounting, including preparing and posting journal entries
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Lead the month‑end close process end‑to‑end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules
• Support catch‑up initiatives by clearing accounting backlogs and reconciliation gaps
• Assist with AP and AR processes, including resolving discrepancies
• Perform inventory reconciliations and COGS analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis
• Assist with audit preparation and maintain strong internal controls
• Support process improvements and system enhancements (ERP/BI tools)

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation or near completion required
• 5‑9 years of full‑cycle accounting experience
• Strong experience with reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (including formulas and data analysis tools)
• Experience in retail or consumer goods environment is an asset
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
