Position: Lead Full-Charge Bookkeeper Fort Erie

Amp Think is seeking a Lead Full-Charge Bookkeeper for our Canadian office in Fort Erie. Take ownership of the Canadian books while bridging accounting between two countries daily.

In this important role, you will manage the full cycle of accounting for the Canadian entity. You’ll oversee accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and work alongside U.S. leadership to reconcile intercompany transactions. Your experience with construction or project-based accounting is a plus, as you will also assist with bookkeeping tasks across the border while ensuring organized financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting tasks and month-end close

• Prepare and remit Canadian GST/HST and payroll deductions

• Reconcile intercompany activity between Canada and the U.S.

• Assist with bookkeeping alongside the CFO as needed

• Oversee office management and resource scheduling

Requirements:

• Proven full-charge bookkeeping experience required

• Construction or project accounting background preferred

• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax remittances

• Proficient in cloud accounting with Zoho or similar

• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle office tasks
