Amp Think is seeking a full-time Accountant (CPA) to manage financial operations in Fort Erie, Ontario. This senior role combines accounting tasks with light office management, ideal for a local candidate.

As an Accountant at Amp Think, you will oversee the full cycle of accounting for the Canadian office, including tax and payroll remittances. You will be the key financial contact, collaborating with the U.S. head office while ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations. Your expertise will contribute significantly to Amp Think’s projects at premier sports venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles

• Prepare and remit Canadian GST/HST to CRA

• Reconcile CAD/USD transactions with U.S. HQ

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Maintain a well-organized office environment

Requirements:

• CPA designation and full-cycle accounting experience

• Knowledge of GST/HST and CRA remittances

• Proficiency in cloud accounting systems

• Strong Excel skills for financial management

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for office duties
