Accounting Associate

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounting Associate to join a growing Ontario-based organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment and enjoys working across teams.

This role is ideal for someone who brings both technical accounting experience and a mindset focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and strong service delivery.

• Manage full‑cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
• Prepare and issue invoices, apply payments, and reconcile accounts
• Monitor outstanding balances and conduct professional collections
• Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and manage payments
• Support month‑end activities
  , reconciliations, and audit requests
• Maintain accurate financial records within an ERP system
  - Odoo

Collaborate across departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in A/R, A/P, and general accounting
• Experience with ERP systems
  - Odoo
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel and general office software
• Professional communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• A proactive, team‑oriented approach with a willingness to learn and grow

• Experience in small‑to‑mid‑sized organizations
• Exposure to field‑service or operations‑based environments
• Familiarity with GST/HST or government reporting

• Competitive salary: $50,000 – $65,000 CAD
