This role is focused on managing the books for our Canadian entity, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations. You will report directly to the CFO in Garland, Texas while assisting with U.S. bookkeeping as needed. Ideal for accountants with a background in construction or project-based settings who enjoy varied tasks and responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full cycle accounting for the Canadian entity

• Prepare and remit GST/HST and payroll deductions

• Coordinate with the Garland head office on financial matters

• Track field resources' time, attendance, and expenses

• Maintain office operations and assist in material receiving

Requirements:

• CPA designation with strong accounting experience

• Knowledge of Canadian payroll and GST/HST regulations

• Proficient in cloud accounting and Excel

• Ability to manage light office duties alongside accounting tasks

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and operating a manual pallet jack
