Weekend Logistics Support Assistant Position Summary

Freeman Herbs Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Weekend Logistics Support Assistant to provide administrative support to our logistics team. This role is primarily focused on paperwork, data entry, and maintaining Excel spreadsheets to support our transportation and freight operations. The position requires a high level of accuracy, strong computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently.

This is a part-time weekend position of up to 6 hours per weekend. Candidates must be available on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update U.S. and Canadian freight cost spreadsheets and records.
  • Enter, verify, and update data with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review paperwork and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with filing, record keeping, and other administrative tasks related to logistics operations.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the logistics team as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Skills and Experience
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent data-entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous administrative, office, logistics, transportation, or data-entry experience is considered an asset.
Schedule
  • Must be available to work both Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Up to 6 hours per weekend.
  • Typical hours are approximately 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM each day, subject to operational requirements.
