Become a Water Meter Processing Assistant responsible for ensuring accurate billings and managing meter data. Ideal for detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills.

This position focuses on processing meter card data to facilitate timely water billing. You’ll perform cancellations and transfers, manage refunds for over payments, and maintain contact with customers. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the department's efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage input of meter data for accurate billing

• Handle cancellations, adjustments, and refunds for accounts

• Schedule and coordinate meter readings with consumers

• Keep owner/tenant contract files up-to-date

• Address customer inquiries with effective follow-up

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent certification

• Foundation in accounting principles preferred

• Proven skills in organizing tasks efficiently

• Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Office software

• Experience with Vailtech, Work Manager, and Amanda applications is a plus
