About the position

Duties
The AS-01 Finance and Administration Officer is responsible for material management, financial, administrative and information management functions including procurement of goods and services, conducting inventories, and accommodations.

This position provides accounting services; information and advice; budget monitoring and reports; forecasting; and general administrative services for purchasing, contract administration, information management, informatics support; human resources.

This position is a key position that ensures financial policies are being adhered within their site location.

Intent of the process
The intent of the process is to fill two full-time positions.

Term employment. Six-month term positions with the possibility of extension.

One position is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON and one position is located in Hamilton, ON.The results of this process will be used to build a list of qualified candidates to staff future vacancies at the same group and level with various tenures (indeterminate, seasonal, temporary, full-time, part-time, casual/ as-and-when), security levels or linguistic requirements in same or other parts of the country.
