Support the City of Welland's vibrant community as a Scheduling Administrator, overseeing the rental and use of city facilities. This full-time role demands excellent customer service while managing permits and bookings.

As you report to the Supervisor of Festivals and Events, you will coordinate facility rentals, acting as a liaison between diverse stakeholders, including community organizations and city departments. Your adeptness at managing inquiries and processing permits will ensure successful community events and activities across local venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare permits and schedule rental reservations

• Administer allocation of recreation spaces fairly

• Address public inquiries and provide site information

• Prepare rental schedules and budget documents

• Liaise with staff regarding facilities and community events

Requirements:

• 2-year diploma in Recreation Leadership or a related field

• Three years of relevant administrative experience

• Understanding of local government policies

• Strong organization and planning skills

• Expertise in Microsoft Office and recreation software
