Senior Building Inspector and Plans Examiner

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect building plans for compliance with regulations

• Issue occupancy and construction permits

• Investigate and document building regulation violations

• Provide accurate technical advice to applicants

• Respond to immediate safety concerns during inspections

Requirements:

• Civil or architectural technology degree

• Certified Building Code Official designation

• Five years of field experience in building construction

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Valid Ontario Driver’s license, clean record
