This role requires reviewing powerful construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You will be responsible for handling Fast Track applications, liaising with various stakeholders, and providing expert guidance on building regulations. Your work will significantly impact the permit issuance process for residential, industrial, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review applications and plans at the counter

• Examine Fast Track applications for compliance

• Liaise with officials and contractors effectively

• Answer public inquiries on building regulations

• Ensure accurate fee collection for permits

Requirements:

• Three-year diploma in civil/construction engineering

• One year in building construction or related field

• Willingness to complete OBOA training

• Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code Act

• Strong communication and customer service skills
