Location: St. Catharines – Various job sites throughout the GTA
Pay Rate: Type:
Temporary, 1–2 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Variable depending on project requirements, approximately 4– hours per day
Job Description
Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Restoration / Mitigation Labourers to assist with water, fire, smoke, and wind damage restoration projects at various job sites throughout the GTA.
This is a hands-on and physically demanding position
. Employees will be assigned to different locations based on daily project requirements, so candidates must be flexible, reliable, and comfortable travelling between job sites.
Responsibilities
Assist with restoration and mitigation work involving water, fire, smoke, and wind damagePerform demolition and removal of damaged materialsLift, carry, and move equipment, furniture, materials, and property contentsSet up, move, and operate restoration equipment, including dehumidifiers and air moversAssist with cleaning and preparing damaged areasLoad and unload tools, equipment, and materialsTravel between various job sites as requiredFollow all workplace health and safety proceduresPerform other restoration and general labour duties as assignedRequirements
Previous restoration experience is preferred, particularly in water, fire, or smoke mitigationConstruction, demolition, restoration, or general labour experience is an assetValid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle are requiredMust be comfortable travelling to different job sites throughout the GTAMust be physically capable of lifting, carrying, demolition, and moving equipment and materialsExperience operating dehumidifiers, air movers, or similar restoration equipment is an assetNo specific certifications or tickets are requiredSafety shoes and work gloves are requiredMust be able to meet the client's background screening requirementsReliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in physically demanding environmentsFlexible with working hours based on project requirementsIf you have the skills and experience that we are looking for to be successful in this role please apply online, email your resume to Matthew D'Ardis
