This job advertisement is to fill an existing vacancy in the Administrative Professional (Employee Group).
Reporting to the Supervisor, Printing Services, the Customer Service & Printing Coordinator is responsible for supporting an engaged customer service experience by managing daily Printing Services operations and equipment. The Customer Service & Printing Coordinator prioritizes the printing services workflow; coordinates and advises on large printing projects; and manages printing materials inventory. The incumbent also provides expert guidance and training to other users on the printing equipment.
The Customer Service & Printing Coordinator will:
Serve as a point of contact for customers and offer expertise and guidance for their printing requirements (i.e., design, layout, material variety, review/proofing, etc.).
Administer Printing Services operations, including execution and coordination of special orders and complete related paperwork.
Answer phone calls, e‑mails and faxes regarding printing & stationery orders.
Quote printing jobs for in‑house and outsourced requests.
Schedule work and order required materials for production.
Meet with departments to coordinate and advise on large and involved Print & Mail packages (e.g., recruiting materials, diplomas, offer packages, letters, pledge cards, exam materials, etc.).
Engage with customers related to their printing orders, including answering questions, complaints, and rectifying issues to ensure effective customer service.
Execute the assembly & processing of orders including printing, sorting, fulfilling, and shipping orders including ensuring order accuracy.
Assist with financial administration duties including the correct and appropriate billing of charges such as billing for internal purchases, shipping, and external clients.
Key
Skills and Experience:
A post‑secondary diploma or degree in a related field.
Experience with in the customer service and printing industry role or a related trade (i.e., graphic design).
Knowledge of general office administration, including office procedures, shared drives, inventory management, and communications.
Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, consultation, advising and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail for proofing printing materials.
Strong critical thinking and decision‑making skills required to schedule and coordinate printing operations.
Detail‑oriented, with strong organization and time‑management skills.
Salary and Total Rewards:
Job Grade I, Salary Scale ($52,093 - $84,476);
Target Hiring Range: $52,093 - $55,000 *.
