As the University of Niagara Falls Canada seeks an Instructional Designer for an 18-month contract, you will be instrumental in creating research-based online courses. Reporting to the Manager of Instructional Design, this position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic Centre for Teaching Excellence team. Your impact will be in enhancing course quality and supporting faculty through innovative design practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with SMEs to create engaging eLearning content

• Use LMS templates for diverse instructional needs

• Assist faculty in content organization and media selection

• Design actionable workshops for faculty and staff

• Implement strategies like simulations for enriching learning

Requirements:

• Relevant degree;
Master’s degree preferred

• 2-4 years of instructional design experience

• Certification in Instructional Design or equivalent

• Familiarity with Quality Matters

• Teaching background beneficial in post-secondary education
