ACTG 4P63 ASSURANCE II
Post End Date:  July 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM

Compensation:

Master’s Degree Complete ($36.00/hour) – Paid to employees who have completed a master’s degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026)

Undergraduate Degree Complete ($31.04/hour) – Paid to employees who have completed a four‑year honours degree or a three‑year pass degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026)

Third Year Complete ($22.91/hour) – Paid to employees who have completed the third year of an undergraduate honours degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026)

Second Year Complete ($20.15/hour) – Paid to employees who have completed the second year of an undergraduate degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026)

First Year Complete ($19.00/hour) – Paid to employees who have completed the first year of an undergraduate honours degree. (Rate effective September 1, 2026)

Due to limited hours available not all positions may move beyond the posting stage.

Duties
The marker‑grader is expected to mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams and must be prepared to provide written feedback to students that will clearly identify the basis of the grade assigned; whether it is due to substantive content or to written communications, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, and overall structure and organization of the submission.

The marker‑grader may be expected to invigilate mid‑terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases, at the request of the course instructor.

Qualifications

Must have completed ACTG 3P63 (or equivalent in English) and attained a grade of 80% or higher.

Graduate of or major in Accounting with a minimum major average of 75%.

Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.

Previous Marker/Grader experience is considered an asset.
