Position
Marker‑Grader – ACTG 1P91 Introduction to Financial Accounting (student positions)
Compensation depends on qualifications:
Master’s Degree Complete – $36.00/hour (effective September 1, 2026)
Undergraduate Degree Complete – $31.04/hour (effective September 1, 2026)
Third Year Complete – $22.91/hour (effective September 1, 2026)
Second Year Complete – $20.15/hour (effective September 1, 2026)
First Year Complete – $19.00/hour (effective September 1, 2026)
Due to limited hours available, not all positions may move beyond the posting stage.
Positions are subject to course enrollments and budgetary approval.
Duties
Mark assignments, term projects, case reports, midterms, progress exams, and/or final exams, providing written feedback that identifies the basis of the grade.
Invigilate mid‑terms and examinations for this course, or enter grades into databases as requested by the instructor.
Qualifications
Completed ACTG 1P91 Introduction to Financial Accounting (or equivalent) with a grade of 80% or higher.
Graduate of or major in Accounting with a minimum major average of 75%.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven track record of working effectively with deadlines.
Previous marker/grader experience is an asset.
