University Instructional Designer

Position: University Instructional Designer Role
Location: Niagara Falls

Shape the future of online education as an Instructional Designer at the University of Niagara Falls Canada. This hybrid role will creatively enhance the design and delivery of courses across diverse formats.

As an Instructional Designer on an 18-month contract, you will collaborate with the Centre for Teaching Excellence team s position involves working closely with faculty and other academic units to create interactive and effective courses.

Your role ensures that educational content is engaging, inclusive, and accessible for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Subject Matter Experts to create eLearning materials

• Use LMS to achieve optimal multi-modal course delivery

• Assist faculty in instructional design and media selection

• Conduct workshops to enhance faculty skills

• Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines efficiently

Requirements:

• Degree in Education required;
Master’s preferred

• 2-4 years of relevant instructional design experience

• Teaching experience in a higher education context

• Certification in Quality Matters desired

• Strong knowledge of current educational trends
