Brock University seeks a Teaching Assistant for the CUPE
4207-1 group. This position requires at least three years in a BEng program and a strong grasp of Finite Element Method (FEM) and simulation techniques. Exceptional candidates may have experience with DEFORM software and teaching skills to support students effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled contact time with students

• Prepare seminar materials and assignments

• Provide student consultations and grading

• Proctor examinations and attend lectures

• Manage course administration duties as needed

Requirements:

• Completed at least 3 years of a BEng in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum overall GPA of 75% or higher

• Focus in Manufacturing within Mechanical Engineering

• Strong understanding of FEM and simulation

• Experience with DEFORM software is an asset
