The Teaching Assistant will demonstrate expertise in medication administration and ensure student success through effective support and consultation. Responsibilities include preparing seminar materials, grading, proctoring exams, and holding office hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide student support and assist in course administration

• Prepare seminar materials and consult with students

• Grade assignments and proctor examinations

• Hold scheduled office hours for student assistance

• Attend lectures and participate in course-related duties

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of medication calculations and dosing

• Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Proficiency in fractions, ratios, and IV drip rates

• Ability to perform weight-based and dose calculations

• Familiar with formulas and conversions for nursing practices
