Data Visualization Teaching Assistant

This position supports an engaging Data Visualization course, focusing on practical applications of data preparation and visualization. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in teaching and grading for data visualization seminars

• Prepare course materials and hold office hours for student support

• Proctor exams and provide real-time feedback to students

• Facilitate discussions on data storytelling and visualization

• Support course administration and ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field

• Knowledge of Excel’s pivot tables, Power BI, and Tableau

• Understanding of data visualization principles and teaching skills

• Prior university-level experience as a Teaching Assistant preferred

• Background in spatial data visualization techniques
