Position: Long-Term Occasional Teacher Opportunity
Location: St. Catharines

Niagara Catholic District School Board is hiring a Long-Term Elementary Occasional Teacher for Grade 1/2 at Our Lady of Fatima, St. Catharines. Candidates must submit a complete Occasional Teacher Portfolio to move forward in the hiring process.

This role enables educators to make a significant impact in the classroom while building connections with students and families. Selection is based on seniority, and since salary will be based on experience and qualifications, candidates are encouraged to highlight their relevant backgrounds. Note that candidates must complete required police checks as part of their onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction for Grade 1/2 learners

• Update and submit an Occasional Teacher Portfolio

• Follow seniority guidelines during the hiring process

• Pass police record and vulnerable sector checks

• Promote inclusivity in the classroom environment

Requirements:

• Qualified as an Occasional Teacher in Ontario

• Demonstrated experience in elementary teaching

• Commitment to inclusive educational practices

• Able to provide recent police checks

• Available for the assignment duration
