About

The Position

The Master of Healthcare Management program invites applications for sessional instructor position.

Per course rate: $7,200 (paid in installments)

Term by Term Basis - 1 Year contract

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Attend weekly lectures and review course material
  • Lecture and teach students in a variety of delivery modes, creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Invigilate quizzes, tests & exams; complete grading of quizzes, tests, assignments & exams
  • Meet with or respond to students' inquiries during office hours
  • Update course materials and grades on internal software
The Successful Candidate Will Have The Following

Education And Experience:
  • A Doctorate/Ph.D. in Healthcare Management, Health Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in healthcare management, healthcare leadership, healthcare policy, healthcare finance, organizational behavior in healthcare settings, and strategic planning.
  • Related industry experience and expertise in healthcare administration, hospital management, clinical leadership, healthcare consulting, or healthcare quality improvement to enhance student learning through real-life scenarios and case studies.
  • Previous teaching experience at the graduate level is a significant asset.
  • Curriculum development experience for on-site, online, and hybrid delivery.
  • Ability to mentor and advise students in their academic and professional endeavors.
