Apply mathematics teaching experience as a Marker-Grader for Brock University’s Mathematics in the Early Years course. This course appointment supports Winter D3 marking duties.
The Marker-Grader will assess course work for ECEC 4P14 at Brock University. The position requires an Honours BA or BECE, previous successful teaching experience, and experience teaching mathematics. Written feedback must explain grades clearly, including substantive content and written communication. The course may also require examination invigilation or database grade entry.
Key Responsibilities:
Mark assignments and term projects for Mathematics in the Early Years
Assess case reports, midterms, progress exams, and final exams
Provide written feedback explaining the basis of assigned grades
Evaluate content, spelling, punctuation, grammar, structure, and organization
Invigilate examinations or enter grades into databases when requested
Requirements:
Honours BA or BECE
Previous successful teaching experience at an education level
Experience teaching mathematics
Qualifications determine the applicable Marker-Grader hourly rate
Use mathematics teaching and clear assessment feedback skills to support Brock University’s ECEC 4P14 students.
