As a Hydroelectric Project Technical Specialist, oversee the installation and commissioning of hydroelectric power systems, ensuring technical excellence and safety compliance in all operations. Leverage your piping expertise to enhance project outcomes.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing field operations for hydroelectric projects. You'll direct installation activities, participate in method statements, and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills are essential for effectively coordinating teams and managing risks associated with the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
• Lead technical assessments and compliance checks
• Guide teams through construction and installation phases
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules as necessary
• Verify and validate engineering documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or equivalent technical diploma required
• Minimum 5 years in hydroelectric generator environments
• Strong technical proficiency in hydro systems
• Experience in piping installation
• Excellent MS Office and communication skills
