CRH Summer Student in Operations

Location: Beamsville

Explore a rewarding summer experience as a Summer Student in Operations at CRH Canada in London, Ontario. This full-time contract provides a platform to develop invaluable skills in the construction industry.

As part of the Dufferin Concrete division, you will assist with plant testing and operations while contributing to quality and safety protocols. You will report on activities while reinforcing your academic knowledge in Civil, Construction, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering Technology. This 4-month contract offers practical exposure to the concrete industry and key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute testing for concrete and aggregate samples

• Support daily operations in the ready-mix process

• Communicate operational needs with multiple teams

• Carry out laboratory duties and safety checks

• Follow health and safety regulations diligently

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree or diploma program

• Proficient analytical skills for reporting

• Must possess a valid G driver’s license

• Able to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
