Join The Clayfield Hotel as Chief Engineer and shape a luxury property within Hyatt's Unbound Collection, set to open in Niagara-on-the-Lake in Spring 2026. Utilize your building systems expertise to create a welcoming environment for guests.
This unique opportunity requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience in hotel engineering and maintenance operations. You will create and implement the hotel’s preventive maintenance program and establish procedures for managing all aspects of hotel infrastructure. Work closely with your engineering team to ensure high standards of safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage building systems commissioning and handover

• Launch a comprehensive preventive maintenance program

• Set up vendor and contractor accounts for essential services

• Oversee maintenance operations for all hotel areas

• Ensure compliance with fire and life-safety regulations
Requirements:

• 5+ years in hotel engineering or maintenance roles

• Ability to diagnose and repair various building systems

• Experience leading a small team effectively

• Understanding of Ontario's safety standards

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
