Drive environmental initiatives as a Field Environmental Specialist. You will manage hazardous waste disposal and regulatory compliance on-site across multiple locations.
This dynamic role requires travel within the Greater Toronto Area, ensuring clients meet their compliance needs efficiently. Duties include preparing waste for safe disposal, conducting audits, and responding to hazardous material emergencies. Suitable candidates should be flexible with their work hours and ready to engage in municipal waste events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage hazardous waste disposal and compliance
• Prepare waste for transport and regulatory adherence
• Provide technical support during audits
• Operate commercial vehicles safely
• Engage in household hazardous waste events
Requirements:
• Degree in environmental science or equivalent
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
• Valid Ontario driver’s license needed
• Must comply with PPE policies
