The Design Engineer role at ALTEN Canada includes leading projects that focus on enhancing and developing aerospace technology. Your expertise will support project estimation, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure objectives are met efficiently. Communication with stakeholders and presentations during design reviews will be key aspects of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed estimates and schedules for projects
• Ensure adherence to quality and cost metrics
• Coordinate with stakeholders throughout projects
• Present design modifications during reviews
• Manage external engineering subcontracting efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 7–10 years of relevant project engineering experience
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Master’s degree and a Professional Engineer’s License are advantageous
