Location: niagara on the lake
Become the Chief Engineer at The Clayfield Hotel, part of Hyatt's Unbound Collection, launching in Niagara-on-the-Lake in Spring 2026. Bring your technical proficiency to enhance the guest experience through exceptional facility management.
As Chief Engineer, you will oversee the engineering operations in a new luxury hotel. This hands-on role involves everything from construction readiness to managing the preventive maintenance program. Your leadership will guide a small team dedicated to maintaining quality standards for safety and building integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in the handover of building systems
• Build and manage the preventive maintenance program
• Set maintenance procedures and logs for hotel operations
• Supervise all repair operations for building systems
• Conduct inspections to maintain high operational standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years of hotel engineering experience
• Proficiency in diagnosing building systems
• Proven leadership experience in maintenance
• Familiarity with Ontario safety regulations
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Lead The Clayfield Hotel’s engineering team and ensure a premium guest experience through expert facility management.
