HSE Manager at Welland Plant

Location: Welland

Drive safety and environmental compliance as HSE Manager at the Welland Plant. Lead initiatives, develop training, and ensure adherence to OHSA and ECCC standards.

As the primary HSE contact, you will implement corporate safety standards and foster an HSE culture among supervisors.

Your role involves interfacing with regulatory bodies, ensuring all permits and reports are submitted, and engaging employees to reach safety goals. In this role, you'll also develop training programs, conduct audits, and lead compliance initiatives to reduce risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee implementation of HSE standards at the Welland Plant

• Facilitate employee training on safety and environmental practices

• Interface with regulatory agencies for compliance

• Lead audits to verify adherence to HSE processes

• Develop annual Site Safety Improvement Plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Safety, Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 7 years in safety management in manufacturing

• Comprehensive knowledge of OHSA and ECCC requirements

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Alcumus Safe Contractor
