RVA is looking for a detail-oriented Engineering Technologist for their Land Development division. This role revolves around CAD drafting, including preparing grading and servicing plans crucial for project execution. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset, with relevant experience in engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare grading plans and detailed site designs

• Develop digital terrain models and surfaces in Civil3D

• Create and maintain pipe network layouts in CAD

• Make design adjustments based on senior engineers' input

• Conduct pre-design assessments to inform project planning

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited civil engineering program

• 0–7 years of experience in an engineering role

• Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D

• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities

• Understanding of civil engineering principles and municipal systems
