Become a vital Marine Engineer with Niagara City Cruises, focused on maintaining passenger vessels and marine operations. This role demands expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and adhering to safety protocols, including inspections and emergency drills.

As a Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficient operation of vessels. This includes supervising Marine Technicians and conducting routine inspections to prevent unsafe conditions. You will also assist in accident investigations and maintain detailed engineering logs, guaranteeing compliance with the Niagara City Cruises' Safety Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee safe operation of all marine systems and machinery

• Inspect vessels, docks, and railway for safety hazards

• Maintain engineering operations and logs meticulously

• Coordinate activities with Marine Manager in their absence

• Participate in safety drills and meetings diligently

Requirements:

• Minimum Fourth Class Motor Certificate from Transport Canada

• Four years of maintenance and repair experience

• Knowledge of diesel engines and marine systems

• Current Marine Basic First Aid certification

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather
