Production Planner Marine Operations Ontario

Location: St. Catharines

Take charge of production planning at Ontario Shipyards in St. Catharines. This full-time role focuses on turning complex designs into streamlined marine project timelines.

In this proactive position, reporting to the VP of Operations, you will manage diverse tasks linked to shipbuilding and repair schedules. With a minimum of 3 years in planning roles within shipyards, you will be instrumental in optimizing trade allocations while navigating dynamic environments. Your expertise in Primavera P6 will help streamline operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and allocate resources for all vessel projects

• Develop realistic project timelines and budgets

• Convert technical documents into task instructions

• Monitor project scope changes and adjust schedules

• Analyze weekly performance against budgets

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of planning and scheduling experience

• Advanced Primavera P6 skills are required

• Knowledgeable in structural and mechanical marine systems

• Experience in rugged shipyard operations

• PMBOK/PMP or Six Sigma training is advantageous
