Position: Mechanical Design Technician at Abatement Technologies

Contribute to innovative mechanical design at Abatement Technologies as a Mechanical Design Technician. This role emphasizes CAD proficiency and engineering principles as you aid in production and product development.

As a Mechanical Design Technician, you will be pivotal in designing new components and enhancing existing products. Your expertise will facilitate collaboration between Production and Engineering while supporting troubleshooting and technical constraints. You are expected to draft detailed drawings, conduct testing, and provide essential documentation to ensure all quality control measures are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison between Production and Engineering teams

• Draft and modify detail drawings for manufacturing

• Conduct tests on complete machines and components

• Generate Bill of Materials for manufactured items

• Assist with technical support for troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology

• Proficient in CAD software for design and drafting

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Experience with mechanical engineering principles

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
