The Shaw Festival invites applications for an Apprentice Stage Manager for the 2027 season. Working under the guidance of the Production Stage Manager, you will assist in managing stage logistics for 1-3 shows throughout the season while taking on essential organizational tasks. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator with excellent multitasking abilities in a dynamic theatrical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential support to the stage management team

• Prepare and distribute the daily schedules

• Collaborate with wardrobe and coaches for scheduling needs

• Participate in rehearsals and performances

• Maintain organization in rehearsal spaces and resources

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 CAEA apprentice credits necessary

• At least 1 year post-secondary training experience desired

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to handle pressure while remaining professional

• Strong teamwork and adaptability ina learning environment
