Play a vital role in financial operations with the Niagara Grape & Wine Festival as a Finance and Administration Officer. Manage bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting while enjoying a hybrid work model.

This position is crucial for the organization’s financial health, reporting directly to the Executive Director. You'll oversee day-to-day financial tasks, including grants and contracts management, while collaborating with various stakeholders, including suppliers and sponsors. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare financial statements and reports for meetings

• Ensure timely remittances including taxes and health premiums

• Oversee financial aspects of Festival activities and partnerships

• Administer contracts and monitor sponsorship deliverables

Requirements:

• Experience in bookkeeping or financial administration

• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Excel

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality with financial data

• Experience in the not-for-profit or event sector preferred
