Location: Beamsville
We are seeking an innovative and technically strong AI Developer to design, develop, and deploy artificial intelligence solutions that improve business processes, enhance products, and support data-driven decision-making. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including software, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to bring practical AI applications into real-world use.
In addition to technical development, this role will help build AI awareness and capability across the organization by supporting training, education, and knowledge sharing initiatives at all levels.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models for business and operational use cases
- Build and optimize machine learning pipelines from data collection through deployment
- Work with structured and unstructured data (text, images, sensor data, etc.)
- Apply techniques such as natural language processing (NLP), predictive modeling, classification, and clustering
- Integrate AI solutions into existing applications and systems using APIs and automation
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and business teams to understand requirements
- Document models, workflows, and technical decisions for maintainability and knowledge sharing
- Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices
- Support the development and delivery of AI training and awareness programs for employees at all levels of the organization
- Help translate complex AI concepts into practical, easy-to-understand guidance for non-technical users
- Create internal documentation, tutorials, and best-practice guides related to AI tools and applications
- Act as an internal resource to help teams identify opportunities to responsibly and effectively use AI in their daily work
- Promote safe, ethical, and compliant use of AI technologies across departments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science (adjustable)
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Experience working with data processing libraries (Pandas, Num Py, etc.)
- Knowledge of model evaluation techniques and performance metrics
- Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or similar architectures
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), or MLOps tools is an asset
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Interest in mentoring, training, and sharing AI knowledge with others
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and tools such as OpenAI APIs
- Experience with automation tools and business process optimization
- Knowledge of databases (SQL / No
SQL) - Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, or regulated environments
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience developing internal training materials or leading technical workshops
