Position Summary
:
To provide Tier 2 & 3 high level desktop, network and point of sale system design and support to all internal departments in a professional and timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, telephone systems and hardwarePerform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring maximum system performance and uptimeMonitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new and existing servers as neededMaintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segmentsTrack and resolve issues via IT Service Desk SystemInstall, configure and troubleshoot computers, servers and network infrastructureAssists in monitoring network security and performanceEnsuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly while following the Disaster Recovery PlanProvides anti-virus managementManage and Maintain the Windows Updates platformHaving a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties Limited’s’ products and servicesAll other duties as assignedProfessional Requirements:
Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Data Communications or Information Security3+ years of experience related to the corresponding technologiesRequired technical skills:Cisco IOS with strong knowledge of Routing, VLANs & QoSMicrosoft Hyper-V Virtualization with High AvailabilityMicrosoft Windows Server 2012R2, 2016 & 2019
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, WSUS, DHCP.Microsoft SQL ServerMicrosoft Office 365 & Other Cloud PlatformsManage Engine ITIL Software SuiteVeeam Backup & Replication.Sonic Wall Next-Gen FirewallMitel Telephony Suite including Call CentreHPE & Lenovo HardwareIP CCTV Cameras and NVR SoftwareCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) (Preferred)Personal Attributes:
