Lead the technical services team as the Director of Client Support Services at Niagara College in Welland. This in-person role emphasizes strategic management and service oversight across the College's technical offerings.
You will report directly to the CIO and manage the day-to-day operation of client-facing services, including the Service Desk, desktop technology, and AV support. Your leadership will be key in ensuring that services remain efficient, secure, and aligned with academic needs through effective project management and ITSM governance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective ticket management across classrooms and labs
• Direct the management of AV and teaching technologies
• Develop and implement service management standards
• Maintain asset tracking systems for budget control
• Coordinate support for physical security technology
Requirements:
• 3-year diploma in relevant tech disciplines
• 7+ years in large IT helpdesk environments
• Management experience leading sizable teams
• ITIL Foundation required; other certifications desirable
• Experience with IT budgeting and metrics analysis
