The Sr Manager, Cyber Security reports to the VP of IT and is a hands-on leader responsible for implementing and managing cybersecurity standards and operations in a highly regulated gaming environment. The role oversees compliance, security operations, incident response, risk management, and technology controls to protect organizational data. It involves working closely with internal leaders and regulators to maintain strong security practices and ensure adherence to applicable laws and gaming regulations.

The job involves:

Responsible for implementation and continuous improvement of the organization’s cyber security technology to reduce Cyber Security risk exposure and incidents, while aligning with business and regulatory requirements

Develop, implement, and maintain cyber security policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks aligned with AGCO, OLG, NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls Proactively reduce cybersecurity risks and incidents through monitoring and mitigation strategies

Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to proactively strengthen security posture

Oversee daily cybersecurity operations, including threat detection and response.

Lead and coordinate security incident response activities, including forensic investigations, containment, and remediation

Manage the enterprise cyber risk management program, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, documented, and reported

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and legislation, including Gaming Control Act (Ontario),AGCO Registrar’s Standards for Gaming, PIPEDA, PHIPA (where applicable) including audits

Ensure timely escalation, executive communication, and regulatory reporting of cyber security incidents as required

Lead and support internal, external, and regulatory audits, including remediation tracking and closure

Provide security supervision for enterprise IT systems, gaming platforms, cloud environments, and network infrastructure

Evaluate, recommend, and manage cyber security technology solutions and services (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IAM, cloud security platforms)
Ensure security requirements are embedded into IT projects, system implementations, and change management processes

Collaborate across departments and deliver reporting on cybersecurity performance, while demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and professionalism.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing cyber security team fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in a 24/7 casino operational environment

Adheres to compliance and workplace policies, internal control procedures, and AGCO directives and control activities to exceed the AGCO standards and requirements

Any other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate has:

University Degree Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Minimum of 8
-12 years of progressive experience in Cyber/Information Security with a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a Senior or Management role Professional designation/certification CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, GIAC (GSOC, GCIH, GCIA or equivalent) preferred

Proven experience managing cyber security operations and programs in a regulated industry (gaming, hospitality, financial services, or critical infrastructure preferred)
Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to focus on results

Remarkable guest service , time management and organizational skills Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
