Become an IT Technician at the University of Niagara Falls Canada and provide essential Tier 1 support in an onsite role. Troubleshoot, deploy hardware, and assist users across campus environments.
This position focuses on delivering frontline technical support to faculty, staff, and students. You will handle daily IT operations, engaging in hardware and software troubleshooting while assisting with Microsoft 365 and AV technologies. Collaborate closely with IT Management and help foster a reliable IT environment for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1 technical support in person and remotely
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and printers
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and endpoint issues
• Support classroom AV technologies and devices
• Manage incidents through the ITSM ticketing system
Requirements:
• Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• 1+ year of technical experience is an asset
• Background in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Familiar with Office 365 and helpdesk systems
