Senior Systems Administrator Azure Infrastructure

Administer Windows Server, Azure, and core infrastructure for Elmwood’s multi-site operations. Travel occasionally to Coaticook, Quebec, as required.

Elmwood seeks a Systems Administrator to maintain reliable, secure, and efficient server, cloud, virtualization, storage, backup, and infrastructure services. The role supports day-to-day operations, incident resolution, infrastructure projects, and continuous improvements across multiple sites. Candidates bring approximately five years of systems administration experience spanning servers, virtualization, networking, cloud, and security. Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft 365 knowledge is required.

This position supports business-critical environments within planned maintenance windows.

• Administer Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory
• Monitor availability, capacity, performance, updates, patches, and configurations
• Maintain security controls, certificates, email security, and anti-malware
• Manage Veeam backups, recovery platforms, retention, and restore testing
• Troubleshoot incidents and restore services according to priority

• College diploma, university degree, or equivalent education and experience
• Approximately five years of systems administration experience
• Experience supporting business-critical environments during maintenance windows
• Virtualization experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Verge.io, or comparable platforms
• Proficiency with Power Shell; packaging and endpoint knowledge are assets
